There is a select group of individuals that enjoy this look -Socks and Slides. we're talking about athletes, parents, wedding parties, and more. they all want a nice gift or custom footwear to stunt at their next event. We focused on athletics first.
Watching the competition
Every project starts with a brief. We need to know what athletes and the day to day human enjoys wearing under their favorite shoes.
We want it to be durable, moisture wicking, supportive, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Statement Mock ups were created for the company as a whole, I have simplified the photoshop files so much, that a beginner photoshop user should be able to navigate and add their own designs flawlessly.

IDEATION
We needed a sock that was customizable, but fully one material. we needed to keep the polyester blend of material, but we made it slightly more stretchy, more form fitting. removed the excess support, and kept our tag line.

This is the product we came up with and it has been amazing.

The same process here with photoshop. we captured images of the product, added some basic rectangles, converted to smart objects, warped accordingly to the sock, and made this "customizer" directly in photoshop for the entire company to use.

this sock allowed us to completely customize the sock from toe to calf and back. we were able to wrap seamless patterns, or create our own, to really make logos pop and hierarchy fit as needed. check out what we created!
